Look what Daisy made today..

Look what she made!! She got a this from www.cluckclucksew.com and was able to make it. Now she has grand idea's of how to customize this pillow. How about black and white?? Or a rainbow??

Daisy is very thrifty we know. She saw a Valentines blanket at Target and waited and waited until it went 75% off and this is where she got the petals so .75 for the blanket (she still as some left over) and the black and white square is from Ikea $5.99 yd. So for a little under $3.00 and about 1hr she was able to make it.

Let's start...

Ok I am going to do this.  I have a bag of old wool sweaters in the washing maching hoping to be shrunk and a table cloth from Sal's (Salvation Army) in the dryer.  What I am going to do???  Well this winter I treated my self to a few books one is "Sew What! Skirts by Franesca Denhartog and Carole Ann Camp and the other book (thanks Mom) is "The warm Fuzzy's" by Betz White.

I hope to turn the sweaters in to a hand bag maybe or in to a scarf. Still don't know yet but working on that one.
For the table cloth I want to make a skirt.  Just for me.  Once the fabric is done I will try to post a pic. I can do this.
